We were lucky enough to once again be invited to the lovely Monate Game Lodge to capture a wedding. We drove out from Pretoria early on the Saturday morning, noticing a few clouds in the air. The ceremony would be held underneath a 400 year old rock-fig tree so we prayed that they would keep their distance. Mother nature on the other hand had other plans.

Never before had we experienced such a day as Felicia & Neville’s. From a drenching rain storm complete with roaring thunder, to an unforgettable African bushveld sunset. The one thing Felicia asked us before the big day is for some silhouette photos which we love doing. All we had to do was hope for the right light and wow were we lucky with the most dramatic skies we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
